Food Raconteur is not about food, it’s not about a menu, it’s not about catering, it’s about the experience. We’re dedicated to creating a special moment for customers in the Creve Coeur, MO area.
We go across the globe to meet different chefs in different regions to learn more about food and create unique menus for each experience. During our private and corporate workshops, we have fun narrating these food stories to our audience.
We take the time to exchange information with our clients about ingredients and expected outcome so it can always result in a memorable dining experience. We can work with vegetarian or keto meal plans without issue.

February 16, 2021 My siblings and I wanted to surprise our father for his 70th birthday and hiring Ashok was the perfect way to do so. Ashok presented a personalized menu for exactly what we were looking for. The food was constructed so beautifully and tasted even better. He was very professional, friendly and timely. December 8, 2020 On my 40th birthday, I came home to find Ashok and his amazing assistant in my kitchen preparing a 7-course meal tailored specifically for my tastes. It was such an unexpected surprise to have a professional chef from India in my very own kitchen preparing food that would take me on a journey. As a lifelong vegetarian who favors Eastern food, I am constantly struggling to find the one item on a menu that I can settle on. This experience, on the other hand, was a dream. Each course was made for me, with intuition and love. I got to travel the streets of Bombay, southern India, and Thailand. I got to taste delicacies I would never find in a restaurant in the MidWest. Each of the 7 courses had their own story and were explained meticulously.I have never tasted such beautiful food or felt so wonderfully full, happy and loved. December 22, 2019 How can I say this about Ashok’s skills as a food creator! He’s just fabulous! He did our anniversary party yesterday for 25. Food was superb made with care and attention. The rice ball appetizers were our favorite and his chicken cacciatore was amazing.
Timing and creating an ambiance for our guests with his food presentation along with his associates who went the extra mile for our vegetarian guests says a lot about Ashok and his food. Five stars indeed! Nalini S.
